Outline in Color Release Riveting New Single And Music Video”Today’s Western

The new year is upon us, and Tulsa, Oklahoma post-hardcore quartet Outline In Color have kicked off 2021 with releasing a new single, “Today’s Western” and a gripping, beautifully shot music video accompaniment. The heavy yet melodic track is taken from the band’s forthcoming EP, “Imposter Syndrome Pt. 2“. Speaking on the track, frontman Michael Skaggs shares:

“Today’s Western encourages you to step back and reconsider your perspective on reality as you know it. Whether through acts of survival or strings pulled by external forces, one can become shielded from a reality so clear to all but themselves. Are you serving yourself, or are you a pawn in someone else’s game of chess?”

Imposter Syndrome Pt. 2” can be preordered here, and watch the music video for “Today’s Western”

Outline In Color consists of Michael Skaggs (vocals), Jonathan Grimes (vocals and bass), CJ Cochran (guitar), and Austin McFerrin (drums). Outline In Color seamlessly blends elements of hard rock, metal, nu-metal, pop, and R&B. The vocals are heavily laden with soulful singing and tastefully peppered with screaming and backing vocals, and the music features both rhythmic grooves and atmospheric ambience. The totality is a genre-bending experience that gifts the listener with melodies that linger and beg to be heard again.
